Ca-Ca-Ca Cake!
This is half of the dessert display at the Marietta Diner. The other half is around the corner on the other side of the register with all kinds of pies and cheesecake. Emma, Daisha, Alaysha, and I shared a slice of California Cheesecake, which is a delicious cake with cheesecake in the middle. Perfect. On our next visit, Emma and I plan to have the 7 Kinds of Chocolate cake, although I don't know if I can wait for our next visit to try it.

Square Pizza
The Marietta Pizza Company is a great place for pizza and people watching. I haven't eaten there yet, but it looks like I'm going to have to. There's probably a good reason it's always crowded.

SweeTreats
You really have to get yourself some SweeTreats. They start with a vanilla or chocolate base (ice cream or frozen yogurt). You get one flavor free, and you can add whatever other flavor(s) you want. I chose vanilla with Very Berries, which is all the berries. It was so good I couldn't walk and eat at the same time. I picked up one of those buy-ten-get-one-free cards because I am definitely going back for more.

Give Me the Night Light
Marietta Power on the case on Cobb Parkway. I saw their truck on my way to pick up some Chinese food for dinner, and on my way home [lucky for me] I caught them just as they finished.

Marietta's Trolley, Uncle Ruban, went into service in July 1905. Passengers boarded the trolley at the courthouse for the trip to Atlanta. The trolley made several stops on the way, and the trip ended at
Georgia Power on Forsyth Street.
Today the trolley takes passengers on one-hour narrated tours
of historic Marietta.
